This Terms of Service agreement is provided in both Traditional Chinese and English. In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the two versions, the Traditional Chinese version shall prevail. The English version is provided for reference purposes only.

Welcome to DIY China Trip (the "Platform"), operated by Quantum Matrix Global Limited (the "Company," "we," or "us").

By accessing our website, registering an account, or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue your use of the Platform immediately.

1. Scope of Services

1.1 Nature of the Platform

DIY China Trip is strictly an information consultancy. We provide publicly available information, policy insights, and travel references for global users planning independent or medical trips to Mainland China. Our services are strictly limited to providing advice and curated information.

1.2 Services We Do Not Provide

We are neither a licensed travel agency nor a medical provider. We explicitly do not offer or participate in:

  • On-the-ground travel operations (e.g., organizing tour groups, providing local guides, dispatching vehicles, or executing itineraries).
  • Medical services (e.g., clinical diagnoses, treatment plans, hospital bookings, or medical assessments).
  • Paid brokerage, commission-based referrals, or financial transaction facilitation.

1.3 Third-Party Referrals

Should you require on-the-ground travel services, we may provide contact details for licensed third-party agencies. Any subsequent agreements or transactions are strictly between you and the third-party agency. The Platform holds no liability for the services they provide.

2. Disclaimers and Assumption of Risk

2.1 Information for Reference Only

All content provided—including visa guidelines, transit tutorials, and hospital overviews—is curated from public sources for reference only. It does not constitute professional legal, travel, or medical advice.

2.2 Policy Changes and Accuracy

Mainland China’s regulations change frequently. While we strive to keep our content accurate and current, we cannot guarantee it is entirely error-free or up-to-the-minute. Users must independently verify critical policies with official authorities before traveling. We bear no liability for financial losses or travel disruptions resulting from policy changes, translation discrepancies, or user misinterpretation.

2.3 Medical Information Disclaimer

Our medical-related content merely outlines public procedures and environments. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified physician for medical decisions.

2.4 Inherent Travel Risks

Cross-border travel inherently involves unpredictable risks, including sudden border controls or flight cancellations. Users assume full responsibility for travel decisions made based on our content.

3. User Obligations

You agree to use the Platform in compliance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and applicable international internet regulations. You must ensure that all information submitted for consultancy purposes is accurate and complete. You bear sole responsibility for any issues arising from false or omitted information.

4. Intellectual Property

All original content, designs, and curated materials on this Platform are the exclusive property of Quantum Matrix Global Limited, protected by Hong Kong and international copyright laws. You may use our content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

5. Privacy

We respect your privacy and only collect necessary contact details to facilitate our services. For complete details on how we handle your data, please review our [Privacy Policy].

6. Modifications to Services and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of the Platform following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

7. Payments and Refunds

7.1 Digital Products (Non-Refundable)

All sales of virtual digital goods—including paid itineraries, digital guides, membership subscriptions, and text-based consultations—are final. Once payment is processed and access is granted, these services are deemed fully delivered. In accordance with standard digital commerce practices, no refunds or cancellations will be issued under any circumstances, including changes to your travel plans or unmet personal expectations.

7.2 Subscriptions

Our paid memberships operate on an auto-renewal basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Member Center. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing cycle. Previously charged fees will not be prorated or refunded.

7.3 Physical Products

Physical items (e.g., travel accessories, SIM cards) are eligible for a refund only if they are returned unopened, unused, and in their original packaging. Activated or damaged items are non-refundable. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quantum Matrix Global Limited and its operators shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, reliance on our information, or the inherent risks of cross-border travel.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
